My Big Family


My mom, JoAnn and my dad, Sam each have more than 5 brothers and sisters each. I only have a younger brother and sister, so my parent's families are what make my family so big. I would like to tell you a little bit about each side of my family.


Dad's Side

My dad's mom and dad's names are Zazel and Harry Lynch. Between the two of them they had 7 children, but they only had four children together. My grandpa had two girls from his previous marriage and my grandma had one son from a previous marriage. Together they had two girls and two boys, my dad is the youngest of all of them. They all grew up mainly between Minneota, Ghent and Tracey, Minnesota except for my half uncle Larry (my grandma's son). He was born in Indiana and after my grandma got married to my uncle Harry, stayed in Indiana with his father where he still lives today. I have quite a few cousins on this side of my family, but they are all way older than me except for a couple 2nd cousins who are way younger than me. Also all of my 1st cousins are boys, so when we get together at holidays, my sister and I have to get a long or be bored out of our minds. We do get a long with our cousins, but it is hard to do something with them when they are so much older than you. Both of my grandparents are now deceased. My grandpa Harry died before I was born, so I never knew him. My grandma Zazel just died about a year ago at the age of 87.

Mom's Side

My mom's mom and dad's names are Pearl and Theodore (Twig) Gregoire. Together they had 10 children. Although 1 died as a baby, so there are 9 surviving children. There are 7 girls and 2 boys: Jackie, Judy, Jayne, JoAnn, Jean, Joy, Jennifer, David and Doug. Do you see any similarities? They all grew up in Cottonwood, Minnesota. I have a lot of cousins on this side of my family, boys and girls, plus there is one on the way. At least on this side of my family I have kids near my age. We are very close to my mom's side of the family mainly because they live closer to us than my dad's brothers and sisters. Both of my grandparents on this side are deceased as well. My grandpa twig past away when I was 8yrs. old. My grandma pearl died about 2 years ago.

My Side

My mom and dad's names are JoAnn and Sam Lynch. They have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. There is me, Cassie. I am 15 years old and the oldest. Then there is Crysta who is 13, followed by Wesley (Wes) who is 10. We also have a dog, named Missy. We got Missy on the day of my first communion so she is mostly my dog.
